Last Sunday, May 12, I had the privilege of doing pulpit supply preaching at Meetinghouse Church in Edina, MN. They are in a sermon series about The Lord’s Prayer, and this week I concentrated on the phrase “give us this day our daily bread.”

paul mccartney became a billionaire in this last week… all those questions are relevant and necessary in a capitalist economy that thrives on acquisition and depends on the rich getting richer by keeping the poor in need and dependent.
