On Sunday January 24, 2021, I had the pleasure and the privilege of doing the guest preaching at Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church in Chaska, MN. Preaching from the lectionary, our scripture readings for the day were, Jonah 4: 1-4, 11, and 1 Corinthians 7:29-31, and Mark 1: 14-20. In the sermon, we discussed what do we need to leave behind if we are to move forward as a church.
